The portion is hugeeee here and very solid food. The homemade noodles are very chewy and go very well with the sauce. The mapo tofu could've been spicier, but the sauce is solid. The ground pork in it tastes like chunked up dumpling filling which is kinda weird. They also provide hot tea and offer to pack the leftover which is quite nice. The tea is pretty watery though. The service is solid and the ambiance is standard. Will come back to try more dishes.

This was my go to for Chinese and was sad to learn it had a new owner and no seating inside. Tried it a couple of times and found it disappointing. Fast forward to last week, the reviews had become favorable, and it didn't disappoint. Will try again soon.

Fast and easy takeaway service with a nice selection of items. My favorite is their hot and sour soup along with steamed rice makes for a great meal. I also enjoyed the Szechuan beef The sweet and sour shrimp had too much heavy breading to my taste I loved how the food was stapled in a heavy paper bag and made the carry out much easier Always seemed clean and staff most polite when picking up. And parking never a problem On my last pick up I see that dine in now available As I get cravings for hot and sour soup this is my go to spot Jim at Maplelag in Minnesota

I was very worried that the new ownership might ruin Judy Fu's, my very favorite Chinese restaurant. Because I live in Olympia, it's always easier to dine in, but that was put on pause at the start of Covid. Thankfully, in mid-May of this year (2024), inside dining once again became available. On May 14th, a good buddy and had dinner at Judy Fu's. The first good news was that our server had worked there since 2007. She went out of her way to explain that almost everything available under Judy Fu's ownership was still available, but she added more good news that a few noteworthy new items had also been added. The menu is quite expansive. I started dinner with a cup of hot and sour soup, my tradition at Judy Fu's. Same as always, it was spiced to perfection and full of the goodies that make Judy Fu's soups a stand-out. But my Szechwan Garlic Chicken dinner was simply gourmet. Let me tell you, it was loaded with sweet bell peppers, onions and garlic. I chose spice level 2, just enough to taste without being overpowering, my preference. I had the honor of meeting Bill Lee, the new owner. You would like him. He is not only dedicated to carrying on the tradition of Judy Fu's, but also adding his own touch, a true gentleman. The thing I least like about Judy Fu's Snappy Dragon has not changed. You see, I live in Olympia and it's a long drive to the restaurant. Ok. I had to say something negative, even if it's my problem. Lastly, I consider Judy Fu's prices very fair, especially for the quality and quantity of food and outstanding service. Judy Fu's Snappy Dragon continues to get my personal gold star for food, service and atmosphere. It's still number one for me!

My favorite place for Chinese food in Seattle is hands down! The staff is friendly, and the BBQ pork fried rice, green onion pancakes, and wontons are always delicious. Additionally, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.

My girlfriend and I were on vacation in Seattle, and we stumbled into our lodging late at night, no idea what food was available. The nearest spot I could find was Snappy Dragon, so I called up and asked if they were still doing deliveries, because they closed in like half an hour. The guy said he thought they were probably done for the night, and I asked if he could just double-check, because I was super hungry. He did a quick check and then took my order. So, kudos to them for going ahead and hooking me up, even though they were debating packing it in for the night. As it turns out, the food here was so good that my girlfriend kept suggesting that we order from them, even though we had plenty of city left to explore! On the first night, we picked up the Szechuan noodle soup. Even with the noodles basically compressed into a cube form, they were still springy and delightful once we got them into the soup. We ate as many of the noodles as we could, and then tried the Ants Climb a Tree, which wasn't nearly as good. Just not enough minced pork and substance to the dish. We ended up saving them as leftovers, and then finding some meat to augment the noodles with later. The next time we ordered, we tried the Snappy Dragon Fried Rice and the wonton soup. Both were great. Wontons were tasty, the soup was flavorful, and the fried rice was pretty solid. Good, but not amazing Chinese food, solid value, hopefully they can open up for in-person dining again soon.
